History
DANI Swiss has been incorporated in 1996 with the main commercial purpose to open the Swiss market to the products manufactured by DANI Instruments S.p.A. (DANI Italy).
DANI Italy, founded in 1975, is since the beginning active in the sector of the chemical analysis designing, manufacturing and selling gas chromatographic instruments.
Thanks to the highly qualified and specific know-how on software (SW) and electronics of the Helvetica Universities (S.U.P.S.I. in Manno), in 2003 DANI Swiss took the decision to widen its activities also to the development of applicative SW dedicated to gas chromatographic analysis.
Today the Informatics Team accounts five experienced and passionate engineers who contribute to the realization of a completely brand new generation of DANI instruments.
For decades, the Swiss territory has been the homeland of outstanding mechanics, advance electronics and specialized workmanship. These inherited characteristics have drawn the attention of DANI Group who realized the necessity to complete the range of products offered. In 2007 DANI Swiss initiated the development, starting from scratch, of a unique Mass Spec Detector based on the Time of Flight technology. This revolutionary product is dedicated to the gas chromatographic sector and its features are going to change the way how mass spectrometry is carried out when the speed of execution of an analysis in needed.
The endeavor, supported by top class scientists, researchers and technicians originated the MASTER TOF Mass Spectrometer.
The instrument represents the state of the art for its innovative design, unmatched performances and its easy to use and powerful SW.
At the same time, also thanks to the trust and the financial support of the Swiss economic institutions, DANI Swiss has been developing since 2005 a new generation of molecular sensors based on a patented technology. The collaboration with DANI Italy and some highly recognized Italian Universities have been a key factor for the success of this technology.
The molecular sensors, able to detect the vapor traces released by any compounds, is going to be applied to the detection of explosives in the security market and, at a later stage, to many other industrial and civil applications.
The future R&D plans of DANI Swiss, as a technological pole of the Group, are going to expand to new and unexplored fields of the chemical analysis.
