Molecular Sensors

The proprietary technology based on Molecular Sensors combines a specific chemical know-how on innovative materials and their interactions with the external world, with a powerful electronics and a state of the art Algorithm.
The output is a system able to sharply detect traces and ultra-traces of vapors released by explosives.

Their high sensitivity and extreme selectivity allow these sensors to be enlisted, as a first step, in the security market for the detection of the olfactory fingerprints of potential terrorist threats.

This technology allows to determine vapors in air in a concentration range from parts per million (ppm) down to parts per trillion (ppt). Such a range of sensitivity enables the detection of any explosive material currently known and reported as used by terrorists, criminal organizations, or any other kind of offenders.

This technology has been implemented, at a prototype stage, in a portable device called F.A.U.S.T.
In the R&D plans of the Company, this ambitious project will be finished within the next months.

The specifications and the physical and functional characteristics of DANI molecular sensors will allow their utilization also in many different industrial applications in the near future.

DANI Swiss has planned to develop a bunch of devices, based on the molecular sensors technology, dedicated to the analysis of particular compounds in industrial and monitoring production processes.
